The problem
When Refinity goes down

Shops stop. No fallback exists.

Connectivity incidents aren't hypothetical. When Refinity reports an active incident, every tech waiting on a formula is losing billable time — and BASF has no official offline mode.

Platform incident fires

Refinity goes down. Formulas unreachable. The header says "Online: incident reported" — and that's all the shop gets.

Production halts

Techs wait. ROs back up. The paint booth sits idle. Every minute is a cost with no recovery.

Reps absorb the calls

Shops call their reps. Reps have no better answer. The frustration lands on BASF — not the platform.
